Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Accident: 3 Worker Dead, Several Others Trapped Under Debris
In a tragic event, a worker lost their life and several others are feared trapped following the collapse of a temporary structure. This incident occurred at a bullet train project site in Gujarat's Anand district. The collapse happened on Tuesday, involving concrete blocks that fell and trapped at least four labourers beneath them.
According to the National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited, the mishap took place at the Mahi River construction site. "Today evening at Mahi River, at the construction site of the bullet train project, three laborers were trapped in between concrete blocks. One labor has been rescued and has been recovering in the hospital," they stated.

Rescue Efforts Underway
Efforts to rescue those affected began immediately after the incident. Authorities have been working tirelessly to assist those still trapped under the debris. The rescue operation aims to ensure all individuals are safely extracted from the rubble as quickly as possible.
DSP Anand, Gaurav Jasani, provided more details about the ongoing rescue mission. He mentioned that a girder being installed at the site had fallen. "A girder being set up at the bullet train project site had fallen today. In this incident, 2 people were rescued and sent to the hospital. As per primary information, 1 or 2 people might be trapped; operation is underway to rescue them," he explained.

The authorities responded swiftly to this unfortunate event by launching a rescue operation right away. The focus remains on saving lives and providing medical attention to those injured during this accident.
