Mumbai: 30-year-old Woman Murdered By Her Boyfriend In Moving Autorickshaw

In a shocking incident, a 30-year-old woman was brutally murdered by her boyfriend inside a moving autorickshaw on Khairani Road in Mumbai's Saki Naka area. The accused allegedly slit the woman's throat following a heated argument inside the vehicle before fleeing the scene.

Identified as Panchashila Ashok Jamda, the victim desperately tried to escape after her throat was slashed but collapsed a short distance away, as per the police.

Passersby immediately alerted the authorities, and both the victim and the accused were rushed to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, the woman was declared brought dead upon arrival, while the accused is currently undergoing treatment for his injuries.

According to DCP Datta Nalawade, the accused took the drastic step of slitting the woman's throat while they were inside the moving autorickshaw. The precise cause of the argument leading to the horrific incident is yet to be determined.

The police have confirmed that the victim and the perpetrator were acquainted with each other, adding another layer of complexity to the case.

Police have taken the accused into custody, and further probe is underway.
