Mulayam's nephew gets married; Saifai decked up

Saifai, March 10: Samajwadi Party supremo's nephew Aditya Pratp Singh Yadav on Thursday, March 10 tied then nuptial knot with daughter of Azamgarh-based contractor in Saifai in Etawah district.

Aditya is the son of Mulayam's younger brother and Uttar Pradesh cabinet minister Shivpal Yadav.

The high-profile wedding was attended by a number of VVIP guests, including RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, former SP member Amar Singh, Rajya Sabha member Jaya Bachchan, Congress party leaders Rajiv Shukla and Pramod Tiwari.

Around 1,00,000 guests were invited for the grand wedding.

In February, Aditya got engaged to Raj Laxmi the daughter of Azamgarh-based contractor Sanjay Singh.

The wedding will be followed by reception in Lucknow on March 13.

The mouth-watering and lip snacking menu contained sour raita, bedai, dahi ke aloo, baati chokha, ulda poorie, paneer-filled chhole bhature.

Sweet delicacies were prepared from pure ghee and included imarti, jalebi, rabri, sohan halwa, kulfi and moong ki daal ka halwa.

Most of the houses in Saifai have been decorated with lights and flowers.
