Mukul Sangma is in outlawed group HNLC's 'hit-list'

The HNLC further said that if Sangma loses the 2018 Meghalaya assembly elections, it will be easy for them to "hunt him down".

Blaming the Chief Minister for Meghalaya's "economic downfall", the outlawed group Hynniewtrep National Liberation Council (HNLC) has, in an e-mail statement, said that Mukul Sangma is in its "hit-list".

Warning Sangma of dire consequences if he he did not change his "dictatorial" mind set, the HNLC said that they have been recieving several complaints against Sangma.

The statement further said that if Sangma loses the 2018 Meghalaya assembly elections, it will be easy for them to "hunt him down".

The outlawed group has also issued warning to senior politician HS Shylla, said reports. The group termed Shylla as a "backstabber".

The statement issued by HNLC Publicity secretary Sainkupar Nongtraw says that Sangma gave them the "hope of peace talks" and went back on his words. It said that a peson who has gone back on his words does not deserve to live.

It said Sangma's 'dictatorial attitude' will be the reason of the Congress regimes' downfall in the state, reported The Northeast Today.
