Mukherjee condoles death of Ghana President's mother
New Delhi, Jun 18: President Pranab Mukherjee today condoled the passing away of Hajia Abiba Nnaba, mother of the President of Ghana.
In a condolence message to Ghana President John Dramani Mahama, the President said, "I am saddened to learn that your beloved mother, Madam Hajia Abiba Nnaba, has passed away.

I write to express my sincere and heartfelt condolences to you and your family. May you have the strength to bear this irreparable personal loss."
"She left this world with great dignity and pride as the mother of an illustrious son who has risen to become the President of her country, steering its destiny. May her soul rest in eternal peace," Mukherjee said in a statement issued today.
Mukherjee, who wrapped up his six-day visit to three African nations including Ghana, also said, "I take this opportunity to thank you, once again, for the unstinting hospitality accorded to me during my just concluded State visit to your country."
