Mufti Sayeed was staunch nationalist: Nitin Gadkari
New Delhi, Jan 7: Union minister Nitin Gadkari on Thursday expressed deep sorrow on the death of Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Muhammad Sayeed.
"Mufti saheb was a staunch nationalist who always worked for the development of the state of Jammu and Kashmir and devoted his entire life for the welfare of the people of all the regions of the state," Gadkari said in a condolence message.

"His death has left a great void in the politics of Jammu and Kashmir. Mufti saheb will be remembered as a great son of India," he added.
