The Madhya Pradesh government aims to improve education facilities for tribal students over the next three years, focusing on infrastructure and quality education. New schools and cultural centres will be established to support the tribal community.

Tribal Education Facilities

New educational institutions like Sandipani schools, Eklavya schools, Mata Shabri girls' education complexes, and boys' model residential schools will be established in each tribal development block. This expansion aims to provide comprehensive educational facilities for tribal communities across the state.

In addition to educational improvements, the government intends to upgrade tribal religious and worship sites. Art centres will also be established in 86 tribal development blocks. These centres will promote social and cultural activities within the tribal community, fostering a sense of cultural pride and continuity.

Promoting Tribal Culture

Shah highlighted that Gond painting from Dindori district has been awarded a Geographical Indication (GI) tag. Efforts are underway to secure GI tags for seven other products. These include Bhil tribes' Gulshan mala and Bolni, Pithora painting style, Jhabua tribal dolls, and musical instruments like Bana Chikara and wooden mask craft of the Gond tribe.

Cafeterias are being built at locations such as Pachmarhi, Mandu, Kanha-Kisli, Pench, and Bandhavgarh. These will be similar to the tribal women cafeteria in Kevadia, Gujarat. Operated by women from tribal self-help groups, these cafeterias aim to provide livelihood opportunities while preserving tribal culture.

This initiative reflects a commitment to improving educational access and preserving cultural heritage for tribal communities in Madhya Pradesh. By enhancing both education and cultural sites, the government seeks to empower these communities economically and socially.
