MP budget session to begin from Feb 23

Bhopal, Jan 18: Madhya Pradesh Assembly's budget session will begin from February 23 and culminate on April 1, an official release said.

During the 39-day-long session, 23 sittings of the House will take place, it said. The session will begin with the customary address by Madhya Pradesh Governor Ram Naresh Yadav and the BJP government will present its budget for the year 2016-17 period.

Besides the House will also transact official and non -official business during the period, it added. A notification on the issue has been issued by the state Governor.

This will be the 10th session of the state's 14th Assembly.
