MP bizman kills self in hotel

Yavatmal, Feb 8: A 32-year-old

allegedly committed

by shooting himself dead with a country-made pistol at his hotel room here today, police said.

"The deceased Dharmendra Shrihari Ujawane booked a room at the hotel last night. He was found lying in a pool of blood inside the room this morning by a room attendant", said Wadgaon Road police station officer Vipin Hasabnis. Police also found a crude pistol with which Ujawane allegedly killed himself.

"We found an election identity card on the person of the deceased. We conducted the spot panchnama and sent the body for autopsy", the officer said. Police said the immediate motive behind Ujawane, who was in garment trade, taking the extreme step could not be known but they suspect a failed lover affair as a possible trigger
