Most haunted places in India

Bhangarh Fort
Bhangarh Fort is one of the most haunted places in India. The fort is located between Jaipur and Delhi in Rajasthan state of India. It was built in the 17th century, by Raja Madho Singh, younger brother of Man Singh, a general of Emperor Akbar's army. At that time, Bhangarh had a population of over 10,000. Now, not a soul lives in the ruined. Even the locals fear venturing into the ruins before sunrise or after sunset. For they believe the trapped souls of the dead are still there, roaming and seeking redemption from the curse. Legend has it that anyone who enters Bhangarh after dark never comes out. A signboard displayed prominently by the ASI warns visitors: "Entering the borders of Bhangarh after sunset is strictly prohibited".

Agrasen ki Baoli
An Ancient Step Well situated right in the heart of central Delhi is also know for being the most haunted place. Although there are no known historical records to prove who built the beautifully designed step well, it is under the protection of ASI for being a rare historical specimen, one of its kinds. It is believed that some felt like they were being followed by an invisible somebody and the intensity of the same increased if they started walking faster. This is definitely something you need to experience first hand to really believe it.

Ramoji Film City
Ramoji Film City is located in Hyderabad, Telangana. It is believed the most haunted because of the supernatural activities. Females are more targeted by the ghosts than the males. Girls reported an invisible force tearing their clothes off, some said they felt someone knock their washroom doors while the rooms remain locked from the inside.

Shaniwarwada Fort
The mysterious story behind the strange activities suggests that a young prince was brutally murdered here which is maybe why his spirit haunts the place and when the night falls, sounds of him shrieking can be heard. There are many locals who actually camp at night on the fort grounds just to hear the little boy's scream.

Dumas Beach
Dama beach is situated along the Arabian Sea in Gujarat. This beach is known for its black sand and mystical activities. Many puzzling incidents have been known to occur like strange whispers being heard, people disappearing during night etc. It is believed that a lot of people have lost their lives exploring this mysterious beauty.
