MoS Defense Sanjay Seth Gets Extortion Threat, Rs 50 Lakh Demanded

Union Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth on Saturday lodged a case with Delhi Police after he received a message demanding Rs 50 lakh as extortion money. The alarming situation prompted the Minister to contact Delhi Police. According to the reports, the message for extortion money was received by MoS on Friday evening, and this morning, he lodged the complaint to seek an investigation in the matter.

As per the initial findings, the threat message was originated from a mobile phone located in Kanke, Ranchi. The police is continuously trying to trace the unidentified accused.

Following these developments, Sanjay Seth personally contacted Jharkhand's Director General of Police (DGP), Anurag Gupta. He filed an official complaint with him as well, ensuring that both state and central law enforcement agencies were involved in resolving this matter.
