In fact, the incident occurred last week, but the apathy of local police led to the delay in registering the case against the assaulters.
Girl's father approached the local police relentlessly, however, only after the intervention of senior police officials, the case was registered against the hooligans. Later, police arrested two of the three assaulters.
According to a private TV channel report, the police suggested the girl's father to compromise with the culprits for cash. But, victim's father took the matter to senior officers.
A day before, in a similar incident, a boy was stripped and beaten by two men and caught the brutal act on camera.
