Moradabad: Rahul's interaction with Artisans and Craftsmen

Moradabad (UP), March 29:In another effort to reach out to the people of the country, Congress Vice President

meets the Artisans and the Craftsmen. Welcomed with open hearts, Rahul strikes a chord with the people instantly as he raises issues relating to their work.

1:30 pm: Rahul says there will be government-run hospitals for artisans. Rahul also highlighted how over 1.5 lakh people got benefited from the Rajiv Gandhi Health Insurance.

1:20 pm: We are facing electricity problems, which hampers our work, said a woman to Rahul Gandhi. The Brass workers also pleaded that they be waived off interests from loans if they do not meet their targets due to natural calamity.

1:10 pm: Speaks of craftsmen not getting money for their labour, bad working conditions etc. He says these would be catered to if there is a proper administration.

1:05 pm: Your small factories are enough to put China's bigger one to shame. We have to address the root of the problem that leads to poverty. And the manifesto is an example. Speaks about the salt manufacturers in Gujarat and said "I do not want to give you false promises and we do not have a magic wand. It will take time and we would work toward that."
