Squally wind speed reaching 35-45 kmph gusting to 55 kmph is very likely over along & off West Bengal Odisha coasts. Fishermen are advised not to venture into sea along & off these areas.

well
marked
low
pressure
area
over
northwest
Bay
of
Bengal
&
adjoining
West
Bengal
and
Odisha
coasts
persists.
The
associated
cyclonic
circulation
extending
upto
7.6
km
above
mean
sea
level
tilting
southwestwards
with
height
also
persists.
It
is
likely
to
concentrate
into
a
depression
during
next
next
48
hours.
Monsoon trough runs near its normal position at mean sea level and extends upto 2.1 km above mean sea level. Under the influence of the above systems, intense rainfall activity very likely along the west coast, east, central and northwest India during next 34 days.
Sea
conditions
are
very
likely
to
remain
very
rough
over
major
parts
of
the
Arabian
Sea,
Andaman
Sea,
West
Bengal
and
Odisha
Coasts
during
next
3
days.
Fishermen
are
advised
not
to
venture
into
these
sea
areas.
