Modi's US Visit: Quad Summit, Indian Diaspora Event, And UNGA Address
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit the United States from September 21 to 23, 2024, as announced by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).
The visit will include significant events and meetings that underscore the strengthening ties between India and the U.S.

Quad Leaders' Summit (September 21)
The focal point of Modi's U.S. trip will be the Quad Leaders' Summit on September 21, held in Wilmington, Delaware. Hosted by President Joe Biden, this summit marks a significant moment as it will be Biden's first time hosting foreign leaders in his hometown since becoming president.
The summit will also feature Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese. During this summit, the leaders will review the Quad's progress over the past year and set the agenda for future collaboration, focusing on supporting Indo-Pacific countries in achieving their development goals.
'Modi & US' Progress Together' Event in New York (September 22)
On September 22, PM Modi will address a major event in New York titled 'Modi & US' Progress Together' at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. This event will see the participation of over 24,000 members of the Indian diaspora.
Modi will also meet with top executives from U.S.-based companies to discuss enhancing collaboration in emerging fields such as artificial intelligence, quantum computing, semiconductors, and biotechnology. The Prime Minister will engage with thought leaders and stakeholders to further India-U.S. bilateral relations.
Summit of the Future at UNGA (September 23)
The final day of Modi's visit will feature his address at the 'Summit of the Future' during the United Nations General Assembly in New York. The summit, themed 'Multilateral Solutions for a Better Tomorrow,' will gather numerous global leaders.
On the sidelines of this summit, PM Modi will hold bilateral meetings with various world leaders to discuss pressing global and mutual issues. This visit is a crucial opportunity for strengthening Indo-U.S. ties and addressing global challenges through collaborative efforts.
