Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday went all guns blazing at the Bahujan Samaj Party and said the Mayawati-led party went scurrying around for hiding their cash after demonetisation was announced.
Hittiing back at Mayawati's recent remarks criticising the note ban, the prime minsiter even coined a new acronym for BSP - the Behenji Sampatti party.
Speaking at a rally in UP's Orai, Modi also tried to reach out to the people of Bundelkhand and assuded them of development once BJP comes to power in UP.
Mayawati's brother came under Income Tax department's scanner after it came to light that his assets rose to Rs 1,300 crore from Rs 7.1 crore over a period of seven years.
On Wednesday, the Allahabad high court had issued notice to Mayawati with regard to a land purchase in 2006. Notices were also issued to Mayawati's brother Anand and her nephew.
The case pertains to change in land use of a large stretch in her native village Badalpur in Gautam Buddh Nagar to populated land, and then its subsequent allocation to her brother.
