PM Modi In Gujarat Says India Has To Be 'Atmanirbhar' To Become A Developed Nation
Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently participated in the 200th-anniversary celebrations of Shree Swaminarayan Mandir in Vadtal, Gujarat. During his address, he highlighted a conspiracy aimed at dividing society along lines of caste, religion, and other differences. He urged everyone to recognise this threat and work together to overcome it.
Modi emphasised the importance of empowering youth for India's development. "We have to create strong, capable and educated youth," he stated. He noted that skilled young people are crucial for the nation's progress and that their global demand is rising. Leaders worldwide are eager for Indian talent in various sectors.

Unity and Cultural Heritage
The Prime Minister stressed the significance of unity and integrity for India to become a developed nation within 25 years. He reflected on how Swaminarayan Bhagwan provided strength during challenging times in history. Modi remarked on the enduring spiritual consciousness maintained by Vadtal Dham since its establishment 200 years ago.
He expressed happiness over the issuance of a Rs 200 silver coin and a commemorative stamp by the Government of India to mark this occasion. Modi also mentioned that saints and sages have consistently helped humanity realise its purpose, contributing greatly to society.
Historical Significance
The event was not merely a celebration of history but an opportunity for those with deep faith in Vadtal Dham. Modi pointed out that India has always seen great sages emerge during difficult periods. Lord Swaminarayan's arrival came when the country needed spiritual rejuvenation after foreign rule had eroded self-confidence.
"We must carry forward his teachings," Modi urged, noting that Vadtal Dham has become a hub for serving humanity and fostering a better world. He acknowledged the significant role played by those associated with Shree Swaminarayan Mandir in supporting his appeals.
In conclusion, Modi reiterated that every individual's life has a defining purpose. Discovering this purpose can transform lives, as demonstrated by saints throughout history. The Prime Minister's participation underscored the cultural and spiritual legacy of Shree Swaminarayan Mandir.
