Modi has nothing to do with BJP: Sibal
New Delhi, Nov 29: Union Minister Kapil Sibal on Thursday slammed Bharatiya Janata Party's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi for praising himself and 'Gujarat model of development'.

Addressing a press conference, Sibal said that Modi keeps on praising himself and gives an impression that no other chief minister in the county has done any work. "He always tries to give an impression that he is the best leader in the country," Sibal said.

Sibal also mentioned that Modi has nothing to do with BJP as he is too engrossed in talking about himself. "In the past six months Modi has never mentioned any BJP leader whether it's LK Advani or Sushma Swaraj in his speeches. It seems he has nothing to do with BJP," the Congress leader said.

"BJP should consider changing its mind on Modi," Sibal said. He also challenged the Gujarat Chief Minister to name one big project initiated in the state in past 12 years.

Sibal also took on BJP leader Arun Jaitley in connection with the snooping row and said the Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha demanded non-bailable warrant to be issued when he was being snooped upon, but when the Gujarat case came into light, he chose to remain silent.
