Modi government, BJP trying to fool people: Congress
Agartala, Aug 3: The Narendra Modi government and the BJP are trying to fool the people by playing tricks but will not succeed for long, Congress leader C.P. Joshi said on Wednesday.
"The Modi government and the BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) are trying to fool the people... But all the people can't be hoodwinked all the time," the Congress general secretary told a gathering here.

He said: "All the central schemes and projects launched by the previous Congress-led government are being executed by the Modi government by merely changing their names or slightly modifying them."
The Congress leader, who is in charge of Tripura and other north-eastern states, arrived here on Wednesday.
Joshi said people across the country had started agitating against the Modi government. "Even in Modi's state Gujarat, the BJP is losing ground due to the state government's misrule."
The Congress leader said his party will launch a stir to oust the Left Front government in Tripura in the 2018 assembly elections.
Congress leader Gopal Roy said the party will observe a 12-hour shutdown on August 12 to protest against the huge increase in wealth tax by the CPI-M-led municipal corporation.
