Attacking Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Congress vice President said Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a prisoner of his own image.
New Delhi Dec 2: During the Congress Parliamentary party meet, Rahul Gandhi on Friday said that Congress never gave India a Prime Minister who based his entire policy on TRPs.
Attacking Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Congress vice President said Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a prisoner of his own image. ''We never gave India a PM who by-passed the experience of those sitting in the institutions''. ''We never gave a PM who was ready to inflict such tremendous suffering on people of India to protect his own persona'', says Rahul at CPP meet.
Rahul Gandhi further said that its high time that Government develops a coherent strategy. The idea behind surgical strikes was to stop Pakistan from cross border attacks. But there have been 21 major attacks and hundreds of ceasefire violations ever since the strikes.
''Today the same person who used to ridicule us sits silently while Kashmir burns'' he added in CPP meeting.
The Congress, along with other opposition parties, has attacked the demonetisation move and demanded Prime Minister Narendra Modi's apology in Rajya Sabha.
The meeting concludes with Opposition ready for debate in both the houses in Parliament.
