Mob kills rape accused in Bihar village
Patna, July 29: A youngster, accused of raping a teenage girl, was beaten to death by a mob in a village in Bihar's Samastipur district on Wednesday, police said.
Villagers caught Lalan Paswan, who was trying to flee after allegedly raping a girl, in Belamegh village, about 100 km from here.

"Paswan, accused of raping a girl, was beaten to death by the mob in the village after the victim identified him," police officer Madhuresh Kumar said.
Claiming that their son was innocent, Paswan's family members alleged that some villagers conspired and eliminated him.
Police said a case had been filed and investigation was under way.
