Mob justice again: Bengaluru man thrashed by public for allegedly harassing women
Bengaluru, Dec 3: A man was thrashed by the public in JP Nagar in Bengaluru on Tuesday for allegedly harassing women.
A Newsminute report said that the public beat him till he fell unconscious.

Allegedly, the man was 'eve-teasing' women in a public place when he was caught by onlookers, who tied him to a post. The harasser was then thrashed by the angry mob.
Currently, the man is undergoing treatment in NIMHANS. The police haven't ascertained the man's identity yet. According to the report, some sources say the man's name is Punit. The man is now not in a condition to speak.
The report says that the police have registered a case against the members of the public who thrashed the man.
This isn't the first time the public has taken law in their hands. In June this year, two men in their mid-twenties were roughed up, dragged and paraded naked by a mob near here after locals suspected they were thieves.
