Developments in UP:
Talks of the Samajwadi Party entering into a tie up with the Congress are already doing the rounds with strategist for Congress Prashant Kishor meeting Mulayam Singh Yadav. JD(U) leader K C Tyagi had said, "JD(U) has been a pioneer of anti-BJP politics. We checkmated their growth in Bihar and will repeat our performance in Jharkhand where an alliance between the JD(U), RLD, Congress and Jharkhand Vikas Morcha of Babu Lal Marandi will ensure the BJP's victory is stopped.
Also on November 5th the presence of JD(U) and RLD leaders at the Silver Jubilee function of Samajwadi Party will be closely observed. Sharad Yadav and Lalu Prasad Yadav will attend the event. It is also said that Mulayam is keen on Bihar CM Nitish Kumar attending the function.
Samajwadi Party has witnessed a bitter power tussle among its top leaders. The cold vibes shared between Akhilesh Yadav Chief Minister of UP and his uncle Shivpal Singh Yadav, UP state president SP were for all too see even during the Samajwadi Vikas Rath Yatra which was undertaken by Akhilesh on Thursday.
In the backdrop of these recent developments in UP the RSS-BJP meet carries more importance.
