Police Recover Beheaded Body of Missing Man Vinod Mishra from Village Well

The police have discovered the beheaded body of a man who disappeared a month ago. The body was found in a well on Tuesday. According to Satyendra Kumar Singh, SHO of Kotwali Dehat police station, the body was retrieved with police assistance, and divers later recovered the severed head.

Beheaded Body of Missing Man Found

Vinod Mishra, aged 40, lived in Agresar village within Kotwali Dehat police station's jurisdiction. He vanished on September 29 after leaving home around 8 pm for a brief outing. His family reported him missing, prompting the police to register a case.

Discovery of the Body

On Tuesday, Mishra's body was found in a well located in Siwan village nearby. Farmers who approached the well in the morning detected a foul odour and saw the body inside. They promptly informed the authorities about their discovery.

Upon arrival, the police extracted the body and noticed it was beheaded. The team then began searching for the head by draining water from the well. After six hours of effort, divers successfully retrieved the severed head.

Family's Allegations

The deceased's father, who mentioned that his son worked as an electrician, suspects foul play. He believes his son was murdered before his body was disposed of in the well. Legal proceedings have been initiated following the identification of Mishra's body.

SHO Singh confirmed that necessary legal actions are underway after identifying the victim. The investigation continues as authorities seek to uncover more details surrounding this tragic incident.
