Man Missing for Five Years Surrenders in Baghpat UP Court
A man named Yogendra, who had been missing for five years after an assault case was registered against him, surrendered in a Baghpat UP court. The twist in the case came when Yogendras wife filed a kidnapping and murder complaint against the accuser and his sons.
A man who had been missing for five years after a case was registered against him has surrendered before a court in Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh. Yogendra, 45, a resident of Ibrahimpur Gaondi village, had been accused of assault and threatening to kill Ved Prakash, another resident of the same village.

Case Registered Against Accuser and His Sons
Following Yogendra's disappearance, his wife Rita filed a complaint against Ved Prakash and his sons, alleging kidnapping and murder. Based on this complaint, a case was registered against them at the Singhawali Ahir police station on April 28, 2022.
Investigation Reveals Yogendra's Alive
During the investigation, it was discovered that Yogendra was still alive. It was found that he had fled to Delhi after the case was registered against him and had been working as a taxi driver there. Additionally, it was revealed that he had married another woman during this time.
Yogendra Surrenders and Sent to Jail
On January 4, 2023, Yogendra surrendered in the court in connection with the case filed against him by Ved Prakash. He was subsequently sent to jail.
Rita Unaware of Yogendra's Second Marriage
According to the police, Rita, Yogendra's first wife, stated that she had not been in contact with him since 2018 and was unaware of his second marriage.
