Australian planes spot objects during AirAsia plane search
Jakarta, Dec 29: An Indonesian official says that objects have been spotted in the sea by the search plane looking for the missing AirASia jet.
Rear Marshal Dwi Putranto-Jakarta's Air Force base commander said on Monday that an Australian Orion Aircraft had detected suspicious objects on the Java Sea, near Nangka island, about 100 miles from Pangkalan Bun, near central Kalimantan. This place is 700 miles from the location where the plane lost contact.

Putranto says,"However, we cannot be sure whether it is part of the missing AirAsia plane. We are now moving in that direction, which is in cloudy conditions."
