Srinagar, February 6: Renowned broadcaster, poet, and Sahitya Akademi laureate Mir Mohammad Farooq Nazki passed away at a hospital in Katra on Tuesday at the age of 83. Nazki, who held prominent positions in All India Radio Kashmir and Doordarshan, suffered a heart attack on Monday night, as confirmed by family sources.
