Minor raped; two booked in Punjab

Moga, Aug 16: A 15-year-old girl was allegedly dragged inside a house in Ajitwal village here and raped by a youth, police said today.

Two persons, Aman Garg (22) and Jyoti, have been booked by the police in this connection. The incident happened yesterday when the minor was passing from the front of Jyoti's house where Aman is a tenant.

The victim was then forcefully pulled inside the house, police said, adding that Aman later committed the crime. After the crime both the accused left the house for an undisclosed destination, police said.

Police is trying to nab both the accused and conducting raids at various possible hideouts.
