Minor raped by home guard jawan in UP
Azamgarh, Oct 26: A 10-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a home guard jawan in Kotwali area, police said on Monday,Oct 26.
The girl had gone out for some domestic work when the home guard jawan, Ratan Rai, raped the victim last evening in an agriculture field, they said.
The family members of the minor filed an FIR against Rai, they said, adding that the jawan was arrested yesterday.
The victim has been sent for medical examination and further investigation is underway, police said.
