Minor gangraped by two youths

Muzaffarnagar (UP), Jul 24: A 16-year-old girl was allegedly abducted and gangraped by two youths at Kandhla town of Shamli district, a police officer said today.

The minor girl was picked up from her house and taken to a nearby tubewell by the two identified as Rihan and Sannu, who then gangraped her yesterday, SHO R K Sharma said. During search, she was found unconscious.

The accused had threatened to kill her if she told anyone about the incident, the SHO said. Police have registered a case against the two, who are absconding and the girl has been sent for medical examination.
