Militants attack police post in J&K, one policeman dead
Srinagar, Aug 18: Militants on Tuesday, Aug 18 carried out an attack on a police post guarding a shrine and an adjacent mosque in Sopore area of Baramulla district in Kashmir, police said.
"Militants have attacked a police post guarding the shrine and a mosque in Tujjar Sharief area of Sopore (52 kms from here) by opening firing," a police officer said.
He said additional forces have been rushed to the spot and further details of the incident are awaited.
