A medium intensity earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter Scale on Friday hit India-Bangladesh border region with its epicenter in Meghalaya.
New Delhi, Oct 21: A medium intensity earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter Scale on Friday hit India-Bangladesh border region with its epicenter in Meghalaya.
According to the National Centre for Seismology, the quake occurred at 6:34 PM at a depth of 10 kms.

The North east region is known to be a high-seismic zone.
