A Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) student in her second year at a in Greater Noida took her own life late on Friday night. The incident occurred in the girls' hostel on the university campus, as confirmed by police on Saturday. The student was discovered hanging in her room, prompting police to send her body for a postmortem examination.

Upon receiving the distressing news, the student's family hurried to the hostel. Police officials coordinated with them to manage necessary legal and procedural requirements. Greater Noida ADCP Sudhir Kumar stated, "We have filed an FIR and arrested the two people named in the note."
