Meerut, Feb 27: A 116-year-old man became a record breaker when he cleared 200 metres in 46.74 seconds at the 35th National Masters Athletic Championships. Born on October 6, 1897, Dharampal Gujjar was the only one competing in his category as the rest of the people were younger to him.

From Gudha village in Meerut District, he is an agricultural labourer, who claims he is fit and has participated in a number of Marathons across the country.
