Medium-intensity quake strikes Gujarat

New Delhi, July 17: A medium intensity earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter Scale hit Gujarat today.

According to the National Centre for Sesmiology, a unit of the Ministry of Earth Sciences, the quake occurred at 9:25 AM at a depth of 10 kms.

Another quake measuring 3.2 hit Chandel in Manipur at 8:01 AM.

There were no immediate reports of loss of life or property in both incidents.
