Medha Patkar to meet Kejriwal over joining AAP

Medha Patkar
New Delhi, Jan 13: After news of social activist Medha Patkar hinting at joining AAP, there is fresh news today of her planning to meet the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over the issue. The activist has said in an interview with the media that she would meet Kejriwal today and finalise her decision to join the party.

AAP's celebrity membership is increasing by the day with actors, journalists, and national activists supporting the party. IN fact, just a few days ago well-known media person Ashutosh left his job to join the Kejriwal brigade.

Medha Patkar, though undecided, had planned to consider the option. Earlier, she had said,"Deliberations are on within the National Alliance of Peoples Movement (NAPM) of which I am a member, about intervention in electoral process by social activists."

In a press conference in Indore, the 59-year old activist had said that there might be some clarity of her joining AAP by January 15. Appreciating the leadership of Delhi Chief Minister, she said," The credit goes to Kejriwal and his team to provide a platform for strongly addressing people's issues."
