Tragic End for MBBS Student in Karad After Dispute Leads to Fatal Fall

A 21-year-old MBBS student from Bihar died after allegedly being pushed from the third floor of a building in Karad, Maharashtra. The incident occurred on June 30, and her male friend has been arrested, according to police.

MBBS Students Fatal Fall in Karad

Dhruv Chikkara, a resident of Sonipat in Haryana, is accused of pushing the student from the Suncity building in Karad's Malkapur area. Both were students at Krishna Vishwa Vidyalaya and had been in a relationship for two years.

Relationship Disputes

According to Satara Superintendent of Police Sameer Shaikh, the couple had been experiencing disputes recently. On June 30, the argument escalated at Chikkara's flat, leading to the tragic incident. "Their dispute intensified and he pushed the girl down," said Shaikh.

The deceased's mother, who is a doctor in Bihar, filed a complaint stating that Chikkara often fought with her daughter. He objected to her talking to male classmates and physically abused her. The mother had advised her daughter to stay away from him.

Physical Evidence and Arrest

Chikkara had bruises on his body, which he claimed were from coming down the building. However, police suspect these injuries resulted from a physical altercation with the victim. "We suspect he got bruised after a physical spat with the girl," said Shaikh.

The deceased had confided in her mother about the abuse she faced. Despite her mother's advice to avoid Chikkara, she mentioned that he pursued her whenever she tried to distance herself from him.

Following the investigation and complaint by the victim's mother, Chikkara has been arrested on charges of murder. The police continue to probe the circumstances surrounding the incident.

This tragic event highlights ongoing issues of domestic violence and abuse within relationships. Authorities urge individuals facing similar situations to seek help and support immediately.
