BSP supremo Mayawati to address rally in Chandigarh on March 30

Chandigarh, Mar 10: BSP supremo

will address a rally in the city in favour of her party candidate on March 30, party nominee Jannat Jahan said here on Monday.

Jahan, who is wife Chandigarh BSP leader Anwar Hul Haq and councillor from the city, said that Mayawati will be in Chandigarh on March 30 to address a party rally in her favour.

She said that she stands a good chance to win from lone Chandigarh Lok Sabha seat, which is presently held by Pawan Kumar Bansal of Congress, "as no major political outfit, including Congress and BJP have declared their candidates".

Taking a dig at BJP, she said that it was a divided house in Chandigarh, while Congress was facing issue of corruption. She said that AAP candidate Savita Bhatti had already withdrawn herself from the Lok Sabha elections and "in such a scenario she stand a good chance to win".
