Mayawati targets UP govt, gets personal with Modi

Mayawati
Lucknow, March 4: Mayawati got yet another scope at lashing out the UP government, calling it inefficient and calling for President's rule. She said,"We want President's Rule in Uttar Pradesh as the Akhilesh government has totally failed to discharge its duties," holding the SP government responsible for the deteriorating law and order.

As she called the government communal and inefficient, she got personal with Narendra Modi. Modi had accused the BSP of being corrupt, which Mayawati refuted by saying that it was BJP that recruited corrupt people. She also said that the Modi government did not have Lokayuta in Gujarat for several years.

She added,"Muslims will never forget BJP for Godhra riots, no matter how many times it apologise."

Launching a personal attack on Modi, she said a person who could not fulfil his responsibilities as a husband and follow raj dharma is inefficient in ruling a country.
