Mathura violence: Shivpal, Ramgopal Yadav eyed to grab Jai Gurudev’s empire
New Delhi, June 17: Mathura violence that claimed lives of 29 people including two policemen is seen as outcome of tussle between two Samajwadi Party leaders.
Control over property valued more than Rs 15,000 crore of Baba Jai Gurudev sparked a tussle between Shivpal Yadav and Ram Gopal Yadav, the uncles of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.

Leadership tussle reported among three claimants Ram Vriksha Singh Yadav, Pankaj Yadav and Umakant Tiwari after death of Jai Gurudev.
Pankaj Yadav being shielded by PWD Minister, Shivpal Singh Yadav manged to grab the main ashram of Jai Gurudev at Delh-Mathura highway while Ram Vriksha Singh Yadav, a favourite of Ram Gopal Yadav manAged to capture Jawaharbag where violece broke out earlier this month when police teamreached there to vacate it from encroachers.
According to BJP leader Ashwini Upadhyay, there was a cold war between Shivpal Yadav and Ram Gopal Yadav over the property of Jai Gurudev.
In view of the cold war between his uncles, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav is dilly-dally over the matter and is not going ahead of the CBI enquiry into the matter.
