Massive sandstorm hits Tehran

The storm affected normal life in the city, damaging buildings and cutting power supplies. According to state media, the wind had a speed of 120 kilometre (80-mile) per hour.
Experts on state television have warned people to stay indoors, says the AFP report. The report quotes a local woman as saying that the storm-hit Tehran was like an 'apocalyptic Hollywood movie'.
The storm lasted for around 15 minutes and it was followed by heavy rain with strong winds.
The bad weather will continue for 2 hours, said weathermen reports.
Flights out of Tehran were delayed and internet and telephone services were heavily affected.
