Mangalyaan updates: 'MOM' really did not disappoint; forced Manmohan Singh to break 10 years silence

Bangalore, Sept 24: The much awaited Mass Orbiter Mission (MOM) will decide the fate of Indian

mission in the global chapter. While NASA's MAVEN is already on Mars, gathering climatic updates, the 'Mangalyaan' will enter the orbiter today.

"He (Pt. Nehru) hoped,this endeavor will inspire future generations to develop scientific temper. We have honored that vision, hope this Govt will take necessary steps to promote growth of scientific temper. This Mars mission will help us understand what happened to Mars, how it lost the atmosphere and the water. This will help scientists to understand how the depletion of atmosphere may affect Earth.
