Married woman dies under mysterious circumstances

The victim identified as Gangadevi (28) a resident of DLF Ankur Vihar here was found hanging from the shower outlet in the bathroom by her husband, police said. The woman had divorced her first husband, with whom she had one child.
She remarried two months back with 42-year-old Surendra Fauji, father of three children. According to Fauji, this morning when the children had gone to school, he was alone at home with Gangadevi. She went to take a bath at 10 am and later she was found hanging from the shower outlet in the bathroom, he told the police.
Fauji took her to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead, police said. Police said they received information about the incident around 2 pm and they suspect foul play. The body has been sent for postmortem and the reason behind the death is yet to be ascertained, they said.
