RIP," Gowda posted on X.

Deve Gowda Remembers Manmohan Singhs Impact

Manmohan Singh, known for his significant contributions to India's economic reforms, passed away in New Delhi at 92. The All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi, announced his death after he was admitted to the Emergency ward around 8:30 PM in critical condition.

Gowda's son, Union Minister H D Kumaraswamy, also paid tribute to Singh's legacy. "Singhs contributions to Indias economic reforms, global stature, and democratic values will forever be remembered," Kumaraswamy posted on X. He praised Singh as a visionary economist and statesman who guided India through challenging times with wisdom.

Kumaraswamy further described Singh as a symbol of integrity and intellect in public life. "Dr. Singh was a beacon of integrity, humility, and intellect in public life, inspiring generations of leaders and citizens alike. His loss leaves a void that cannot be filled. My heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones. May his soul rest in eternal peace," he added.
