Manipur People's Party leader shot dead

Imphal, Nov 13: Manipur Peoples Party vice-president Haobijam Manisana Singh was shot dead by unidentified assailants near Imphal airport, police said.

He was killed around 10:30 am on Wednesday as he was going to the party office.

He died on the spot and his body was taken to Regional institute of Medicinal science, Imphal, for post-mortem.
No organisation has claimed responsibilty for the killing so far, said sources. The motive of the crime too is unknown.
