Mumbai, Dec 8: Congratulating the voters in the four states for giving mandate to

, senior party leader

on Sunday claimed it was also a vote for

, BJP's prime ministerial candidate.

"Modi's leadership which pressed for good governance and corruption has proved to be successful. In all the four states -- Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Delh-- where the election results were declared BJP has got phenomenal success," Munde told reporters at state BJP headquarters here. "This victory is a rehearsal for Lok Sabha polls," he added.

The BJP was leading in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Delhi

"The Congress has lost its prestige in Delhi. Rahul Gandhi has proved to be incapable. Primarily he has failed to lead the Congress," said Munde, Deputy Leader of BJP in the Lok Sabha. "Modi has received people's support and it will eventually benefit the NDA in Lok Sabha elections."

BJP cadres celebrated the results here with drums and firecrackers.
