A letter to PM Modi seeking financial help for paying dowry in marriage

Bulandshahr, Jan 3: Manjeet, a resident of Bulandshahr's Jatpura has asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to give dowry for his sisters marriage. As per a Amarujala report, for this he has written a letter to PM Modi in which he has also enlisted all the things to be given in dowry.

As per the report, reacting to the letter, PMO has sent a letter to the District Administration seeking details about Manjeet's financial condition.

Manjeet has two sisters and is worried about their marriage as family's fiancial condition is not good. The condition is so poor that the family cannot even buy basic items to be given to both the sisters in their marriage.

Thus, Manjeet has sought Prime Minister's help in the issue by writing a letter to him. In the letter he has elaborated the situation and poor condition of the family.

As per the daily's report, in the letter he has mentioned that the poor finacial condition of the family does not allow them to marry the two girls (the two sisters). Mentioning the same he has sought help from the Prime Minister.

Recting on the issue, the PMO has asked Bulandshahr's District Magistrate to provide all the details about Manjeet and his family's source of income alongwith their social and financial status.

B Chandrakala, the District Magistrate has said that within seven days a report will be sent to the PMO after which the PMO will decide what is to be done.

Manjeet told the daily that they have just 1.25 bigha land which is not sufficient to even feed his family, thus hoping Prime Minster Narendra Modi will help him in the marriage of his sisters he (Manjeet) has written a letter to the Prime Minister.
