Man sentenced to life imprisonment for stabbing his wife 21 times

A Delhi court sentenced a man to life imprisonment for brutally murdering his wife to death 21 times with a peer knife sixe years ago.

The court noted that the assault on the woman's head was "so brutal" that it resulted in fracture of underlying skull bone.

On October 31st 2012, the man had stabbed her 21 times with a peeler knife and hitting with a brick following a quarrel with his wife.

The incident had come to light when the man's landlord informed the police.
