Man poisons 2 daughters, kills self in UP

Lakhimpur Kheri (UP), Oct 4: A man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself after poisoning his two daughters in Bhanvapur village in Pasgawan area here, police said.

Buta Singh (25), yesterday, administered some poisonous substance to his two young daughters - one four-months-old and another two-years-old and later hanged himself in his room, Pasagawan police station In-charge Anil Shahi said.

The incharge said Singh's wife was reported to have left for her parents' house following a dispute with him, leaving behind her two children, following which he took the extreme step.

He said bodies of the deceased have been sent for post-mortem examination.
