Man linked to ISIS sentence to 5 years in jail
On completion of investigation, the charge sheet was filed on June 12 2017. The court held him guilty of the charges on July 19 2017.
A special court of the National Investigation Agency, Shimla convicted a person linked to the Islamic State. Abid Khan has been sentenced to undergo imprisonment for 5 years and also pay a fine of Rs 5,000.

Abid Khan was booked under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, Indian Penal Code and the Explosives Substances Act by the NIA. It was alleged that Khan was hatching a conspiracy to commit acts of terror while owing allegiance to the banned terrorist organisation ISIS.
